Postdoctoral Research Position
There is an open position in the Tafti Lab at Boston College for a postdoctoral research associate with the goal of synthesizing quantum materials and characterizing their electrical, thermal, and magnetic properties. Candidates with expertise in thermal transport measurements, electron microscopy, and device fabrication techniques are particularly welcome to apply. The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of an extension up to three years. The Tafti Lab offers a competitive hiring package in terms of salary and benefits. Apart from having access to the state-of-the-art facilities at both BC and neighboring universities in Boston, the postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to collaborate with the scientists at several national labs including ORNL and NHMFL.
